Terms and Conditions

1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions govern the use of the UseAward platform and participation in Hockey IQ prediction games and related fan engagement activities.

By accessing or using the platform, users agree to comply with these Terms and Conditions.

If a user does not agree with these Terms, the platform and its services should not be used.

2. Organizer

Hockey IQ and related activities are operated by Fan Apps SIA / UseAward (hereinafter – the Organizer).

3. Eligibility

Participation in Hockey IQ activities is free of charge unless stated otherwise.

Users must provide accurate information when participating in prediction games, contests, or related activities.

The Organizer reserves the right to restrict or deny access to users who violate these Terms.

4. User Accounts and Participation

Each participant may use only one account/profile.

Users may not:

impersonate another person,
create fake accounts,
use bots, scripts, or automated systems,
manipulate rankings, results, or platform activity.

The Organizer reserves the right to suspend or permanently block accounts involved in suspicious or unfair activity.

5. Prediction Games and Scoring

Users may participate in prediction games and special prediction activities available on the platform.

Points are awarded according to the official game rules published on the platform.

Predictions must be submitted before the official start time of each game or activity.

Once an event has started:

predictions can no longer be submitted,
predictions cannot be edited or deleted.

The Organizer reserves the right to review, correct, or adjust scores in case of technical errors or misuse.

6. Prizes

Prize descriptions, availability, and winner selection details are published within the relevant campaign or activity.

Prizes:

cannot be exchanged for cash,
cannot be transferred unless approved by the Organizer.

Winners may be contacted via email or other provided contact information.

If a winner does not respond within 14 days, the Organizer reserves the right to select another winner.

7. Intellectual Property

All platform content, branding, graphics, logos, and materials are owned by or licensed to the Organizer.

Users may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or commercially use platform materials without prior written permission.

8. Platform Availability

The Organizer does not guarantee uninterrupted platform availability.

The Organizer is not responsible for:

technical interruptions,
server downtime,
internet connection issues,
third-party platform failures,
incomplete submissions caused by technical problems.

9. Privacy and Data Processing

Use of the platform is subject to the Privacy Policy.

By using the platform, users acknowledge and agree that their data may be processed for:

platform administration,
analytics,
communication,
campaign management,
prize administration.

10. Prohibited Activities

Users may not:

attempt unauthorized access to the platform,
interfere with platform security,
distribute malicious software,
misuse the platform for fraudulent purposes,
engage in abusive or harmful behavior.

The Organizer reserves the right to remove users or restrict access without prior notice.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Organizer shall not be liable for:

indirect damages,
lost profits,
data loss,
technical failures,
interruptions in platform operation.

Use of the platform is at the user’s own risk.

12. Changes to Terms

The Organizer reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time.

Updated versions become effective upon publication on the platform.

13. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of Latvia.

Any disputes shall be resolved in accordance with applicable Latvian law.
